During the treatment, Botox injections are made directly into the selected muscles with a very fine needle. The procedure is usually quick. You can return to daily activities immediately after the treatment, but in the first few days there may be slight swelling or redness in the injection area.

Botox temporarily relaxes the muscles of facial expression to soften wrinkles and give a more rested look. It is most often used on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes (crow's feet). It is done in the clinic in about 5 minutes, with optional numbing cream, and needs no prior consultation. It starts to work in 3–5 days, peaks at 10–14 days and lasts 3–6 months on average. A check-up is booked 7–14 days later, with a top-up if needed.
